1969 MOPAR DUAL SNORKEL AIR CLEANER 383 440 ROAD RUNNER SUPER BEE CORONET R/T GTX
OEM 1969 Mopar 383/440 Four Barrel Magnum Dual Snorkel Air Cleaner. This assembly has been media blasted and refinished in black wrinkle to present a period correct image. The top is in good condition and features the dual snorkels along with the vent tube on the driver's side (with CAP) with correct A/C clearance indentations. The base features the 5 1/8" flange (Carter AVS) specific to 69 models and a new reproduction Mopar seal - again, in excellent condition. The inside surfaces have been finished to prevent the typical surface rust that unfinished factory units were susceptible to. A new heavy duty air filter and period correct wing nut are included to complete the assembly. Note that the finish of the wrinkle paint is as close a match as that of the factory production methods. A "Made in Canada" stamp has been added to the base and lid as a nice touch of authenticity. There are minor surface anomalies on the inside of the top - out of sight once installed, but mentioned for clarity.

As an added value, the assembly is complemented with a new reproduction Mopar licensed reproduction Air Cleaner Service Decal. This assembly also includes a 383 Magnum pie pan; other pans may be available, but please inquire first to ensure availability. If you DO NOT need the pie pan, please state so with an inquiry for further consideration. Also note that Chrysler has discontinued the reproduction pie pans - we have an extremely limited stock available and price points are much higher since quantities are scarce and demand is high.

Note: this will also fit 68 models - the primary difference is where the CAP nipple is located (on the snorkel instead of the body of the top) as well as the indentation on the front of the air cleaner for the A/C compressor high pressure line.
FITMENT
The assembly will fit factory 4 barrel Carter AVS carburetors or others with the 5 1/8" flange (as well as Edelbrock/Holley/Carter AVS carburetors with the 5 1/8" flange). If you have modified your carburetor or intake manifold, please inquire first prior to bidding to ensure fitment is correct. Return requests for non-fitment will not be honored.
