1977-79 PONTIAC TRANS AM OLDS 403 OIL PRESSURE LINE ADAPTERS

DESCRIPTION

OEM 1977-79 Pontiac Trans Am Formula with Olds 403 L78 engine Oil Pressure Line Fittings. This is a pair of brass adapters required to correctly mount the extended oil pressure switch when equipped with the oil pressure gauge. These fittings are specific to the Oldsmobile 403 found in Trans Am models from 77-79 and are required to correctly install the oil pressure gauge so that there is no interference from the alternator bracket. Each fitting is specific to the end as illustrated with the red circles. One is required to adapt the line back into the block; the other adapts the line to the oil pressure switch.

Note: The oil line and the oil pressure switch are NOT included with these - it is only for a matched set of the adapters as illustrated with the circles in the first picture. You will receive the items as shown in the second picture - all other pictures are illustrations only.

These fit 1977-79 403 Olds engines originally installed in Firebird/Trans Am/Formula using an oil pressure gauge. Note that the threads are tight, but work properly when installed. It is recommended to use Teflon tape during installation to mitigate potential oil leaks.

The parts present well and will replace the incorrect/missing piece for your restoration. These are tier 1 GM replacement parts.
