1974-79 PONTIAC TRANS AM 400 455 CAST IRON EXHAUST MANIFOLDS

DESCRIPTION

OEM 1974-79 Pontiac Trans Am 400 455 Cast Iron Exhaust Manifolds. This is an original set of cast iron exhaust manifolds for the F-body Pontiac Trans Amas from 74-79. They come complete with part numbers and date codes cast in as pictured. The overall condition is good, having been exposed to moisture for 40 years. They have been blasted, then coated with a special exhaust manifold dressing (Calyx) that prevents further corrosion/rust. All of the exhaust valve flange surfaces are flat and there are no cracks both of the 6 mounting holes. The exhaust pipe flange is true, but will need all of the original studs drilled out and tapped (a common occurrence).

These are correct for WS-4 and W-72 cars from 74-79. They function as original and can replace your missing exhaust manifolds properly.

APPLICATIONS

These exhaust manifolds are correct for the following 1974-79 models:

Pontiac

Trans Am/Formula with 400/455 Pontiac engines 

Note that they may also fit 350 engines of the same era.

Note: this will NOT fit the L80 403 Olds engines or Pontiac 301/Chevrolet 350 engines due to the engine design differences.

FITMENT

These exhaust manifolds will fit factory Pontiac 400/455 cylinder heads/engines manufactured after 1967.  If you have modified your carburetor or intake manifold, please inquire first prior to bidding to ensure fitment is correct. Return requests for non-fitment will not be honored.
