1973 MOPAR 340 AIR CLEANER ASSEMBLY CUDA DUSTER DART SPORT CHALLENGER CHARGER

DESCRIPTION

OEM 1973 Mopar 340 Four Barrel Oval Snorkel Air Cleaner. This assembly has been media blasted and refinished in hemi orange to present a period correct image. The base is in nice condition and features the single short snorkel specific to the 340 4V cars. It retains the 5 1/8" flange that will fit OEM Carter Thermoquad and comes with the correct Mopar air cleaner service decal. The inside surfaces are clean and show factory stamping indentations with very minor surface impressions.The breather filter elbow and snorkel baffle are intact and maintain the original function.  

The lid is in good condition and features the correct Mopar licensed 340 Four Barrel decal and new seal; the perimeter has minor anomalies that are hard to see, but mentioned for clarity. A "Made in Canada" stamp has been added to the base and lid as a nice touch of authenticity. The assembly is completed with a new heavy duty air filter and period correct wing nut. 

As an added value, a new aluminum pre-heater hose that connects the air cleaner to your manifold stove (not included) is included.

APPLICATIONS

This assembly is correct for the following 1973 340 A/B/E Body high performance models:

Dodge

Challenger 340, Dart Sport 340, Charger

Plymouth

'Cuda 340, Duster 340

It will fit a variety of Mopar cars from 70-74, but is technically correct for the 73 model year. Note that B/RB cars came with a similar air cleaner that featured a longer snorkel - this will fit those as well, but is not technically correct.

FITMENT

The assembly will fit factory 4 barrel Carter Thermoquad carburetors or others with the 5 1/8" flange (as well as Edelbrock/Holley/Carter AVS carburetors with the 5 1/8" flange). If you have modified your carburetor or intake manifold, please inquire first prior to bidding to ensure fitment is correct. Return requests for non-fitment will not be honored.

WARRANTY

This assembly is guaranteed to match the item description – customers have up to 14 days to return the assembly after receipt if it is not as described.

RETURNS

Assemblies must be returned in the original packing – customers are responsible for return shipping charges. A refund will be issued upon receipt of the inspected assembly. Returns for non-fitment will not be honored – please ask questions first.

CLAIMS

In the event of shipping damage, customers must save all packaging and send 5 digital pictures so Musclecar Air Cleaners can initiate a shipping damage claim.
