1973 MOPAR CUDA DART DUSTER DEMON CHALLENGER 340 440 FOUR BARREL AIR CLEANER
DESCRIPTION
OEM 1973 Mopar 340 / 440 Four Barrel Air Cleaner. This assembly has been refinished in hemi orange to present a period correct image. The base is in very good condition and uses the single short oval snorkel specific to the Four Barrel cars. It features the 5 1/8" flange that will fit OEM Carter Thermoquads and comes with a new Mopar air cleaner service decal. The inside surfaces are clean and retain factory stamping indentations.The factory breather filter tube and snorkel baffle are intact and maintain the factory function.
The lid is in good condition and comes with a choice of either a new Mopar licensed 340 or 440 Four Barrel decal. A "Made in Canada" stamp has been added to the base and lid as a nice touch of authenticity. A new serrated rubber lid seal has been installed to ensure proper sealing to the base. A new heavy duty air filter and period correct wing nut are included to complete the assembly.
This assembly is specific to the 1973 340 / 440 models listed below. It presents well and will enhance your restoration. Best of all, it is a genuine Mopar part!

This unit looks very similar and will work on all 72 models - the only installed difference being the trap door function with the rear vacuum pod and attaching bracketry.
FITMENT
The assembly will fit factory 4 barrel Carter Thermoquad carburetors or others with the 5 1/8" flange (as well as Edelbrock/Holley/Carter AVS carburetors with the 5 1/8" flange). If you have modified your carburetor or intake manifold, please inquire first prior to bidding to ensure fitment is correct. Return requests for non-fitment will not be honored.
