DESCRIPTION

OEM 1972-73 Mopar 400 440 Four Barrel Dual Snorkel Air Cleaner. This assembly has been media blasted and refinished in Hemi Orange to present a period correct image. The base is in good condition and features the dual snorkels with fully functional vacuum doors. The carburetor flange measures 5 1/8" and will fit OEM Carter AVS/Thermoquads and comes with the correct red/white/blue Mopar licensed air cleaner service decal. All new vacuum lines have been installed, along with the correct ATS replete with correct push pin retainers. There is a slight indentation at the back of the base - out of sight once installed, but mentioned for clarity - priced accordingly.

The lid is in good condition and features a new seal. A "Made in Canada" stamp has been added to the insides of the base and lid as a nice touch of authenticity. The lid is garnished with a 400 Four Barrel (loosely installed); an optional 440 Four Barrel is available if requested. A new heavy duty air filter and period correct wing nut are included to complete the assembly.  

As an added bonus, a new aluminized pre-heater tube is included to make installation more complete.

This assembly will fit a myriad of Mopar products from 1968-74, however, it is technically correct for the 72-73 B/RB engines.

FITMENT

The assembly will fit factory 4 barrel Carter AVS/Thermoquad carburetors or others with the 5 1/8" flange (as well as most Edelbrock/Holley carburetors with the 5 1/8" flange). If you have modified your carburetor or intake manifold, please inquire first prior to bidding to ensure fitment is correct. Return requests for non-fitment will not be honored.

WARRANTY

This assembly is guaranteed to match the item description – customers have up to 14 days to return the assembly after receipt if it is not as described.

RETURNS

Assemblies must be returned in the original packing – customers are responsible for return shipping charges. A refund will be issued upon receipt of the inspected assembly. Returns for non-fitment will not be honored – please ask questions first.

CLAIMS
