1971 MOPAR DIRECT CONNECTION 3 WAY CHROME VALVE COVER BREATHER 383 440

Mopar Direct Connection 1971 Mopar 340/383/400/440 Air Cleaner Valve Cover Breather. This is an original DC air cleaner breather filter that has been cleaned after being on the shelf for 40 years.  It is correct for 1971 models that use the single breather filter with two additional nipples that pushes into the RH/Passenger side valve cover tube. It installs to the air cleaner breather tube and fuel/vapor return lines as illustrated in the description photo (the air cleaner is NOT included).  It has been sitting on a shelf for a very long time....only recently discovered and offered. It was part of the old Direct Connection chrome valve cover package offered by Chrysler in the 70's.

This piece is in good condition (not perfect) and will replace an incorrect or missing breather filter.

FITMENT

The assembly will fit factory OEM Mopar & Direct Connection valve covers with factory style breather grommet. If you have modified your valve covers, please inquire first prior to purchase to ensure fitment is correct. Return requests for non-fitment will not be honored.
