1971 MOPAR 340/383/440 3 WAY VALVE COVER BREATHER OEM PN 3462096

OEM 1971 Mopar 340/383/440 Air Cleaner Valve Cover Breather. This is an original air cleaner breather filter that has been cleaned and refinished. It is correct for 1971 models that use the 3 way breather filter that pushes into the RH/Passenger side valve cover grommet. It installs to the air cleaner breather tube and fuel/vapor return lines as illustrated in the description photo (the air cleaner is NOT included).

This piece is in good condition and will replace an incorrect or missing breather filter.

This assembly is correct for the following 1971 340/383/440 high performance models:

Dodge

Charger R/T, Super Bee, Challenger R/T, Challenger SE, Dart, Swinger, Demon 340

Plymouth

GTX, Road Runner, Sport Fury, 'Cuda, Sport Sebring, Barracuda Gran Coupe, Duster 340

Note: this part will fit the 70/72-74 models, but is incorrect due to the one year only 3 way valve incorporated.   

FITMENT

The assembly will fit factory OEM Mopar valve covers with factory style breather grommet. If you have modified your valve covers, please inquire first prior to purchase to ensure fitment is correct. Return requests for non-fitment will not be honored.

RETURNS

Assemblies must be returned in the original packing – customers are responsible for return shipping charges. A refund will be issued upon receipt of the inspected assembly. Returns for non-fitment will not be honored – please ask questions first.

CLAIMS

In the event of shipping damage, customers must save all packaging and send 5 digital pictures so Musclecar Air Cleaners can initiate a shipping damage claim.
