DESCRIPTION

OEM 1970 AMC AMX Javelin 390 Cold Air Induction Assembly. This assembly has been refinished to represent the factory appearance as produced for the one-year only 70 model. It features the twin hood inlet bezel with air deflectors, twin inlet Y channel box, vacuum actuator with functional fresh air door, circle duct, and original seal. Nearly all of the parts are in excellent condition, having undergone an inspection, cleaning, and refinishing to make the system ready to install. All of the plastic pieces are visually appealing and show little to no wear - an amazing condition considering the unit is 47+ years-old! The air cleaner seal is soft and pliable as well.

Most of these original parts have disappeared, or remain on the high-end cars. Finding an original one, let alone in this condition, is a huge challenge in today's environment. 

This part presents well and will enhance your restoration. Best of all, it is a genuine AMC product.

FITMENT

 

The assembly will fit factory 2/4 barrel AMC engines based within the 1970 AMX platform and retaining OEM intake/carburetors. If you have modified your carburetor or intake manifold, please inquire first prior to purchase to ensure fitment is correct. Return requests for non-fitment will not be honored.
