1970-74 MOPAR 318 340 360 B/E-BODY PRE-HEATER STOVE WITH TUBE
DESCRIPTION
OEM Mopar 318 (70-72) & 340 360 B/E-Body (72-74) Pre-heater Exhaust Manifold Stove with Tube. This part has been media blasted and refinished in low gloss Chrysler engine paint to match the factory finish. Made of stamped steel, it is structurally ready to install and presents an original fitment and appearance. All bolt holes are clean and all reinforcement areas are solid. This piece fits prominently on top of the driver side of the engine and is readily visible - a point that makes finding a very nice original piece very important for a nice restoration. This allows connection to the bottom of the air cleaner snorkel via the included 2" black aluminized pre-heater tube.
This fits 1970-72 Mopar B/E-body 318 & 1972-74 340 / 360 engines originally installed on factory exhaust manifolds.
These parts present well and are a very nice set that will replace the incorrect/missing piece for your restoration. Best of all, it is a genuine and hard to find Mopar part!

The assembly may also fit A-body cars of the same era - some adjustment of the bolt holes may be necessary to final installation - no guarantee of this fitment.
It will work with single and dual snorkel air cleaner assemblies when connected to the pre-heater tube on the bottom of the air cleaner.
FITMENT
The assembly will fit factory cylinder heads and exhaust manifolds for the period indicated. Some adjustment (i.e. drilling/tapping) may be required for installation within the correct year of car but on a different year of engine.
