1970-71 MOPAR A/E/B BODY 340 UNSILENCED AIR CLEANER DUSTER DART CHALLENGER 'CUDA CHARGER
DESCRIPTION
1970-71 Mopar 340 Four Barrel Dual Inlet Unsilenced Air Cleaner. This assembly has been refinished in wrinkle black to present a period correct image. The base is in nice condition and features a 5 1/8" carburetor flange that fits the Carter AVS carburetors along with the correct dual inlets with air baffles. A "Made In Canada" stamp has been recreated to further the authenticity and adds a nice touch to the black finish. The exterior features a new Mopar Air Cleaner Service Decal. The vent tube was previously repaired/replaced-mentioned for clarity.
The lid features a new Mopar 340 Four Barrel pie pan to augment your engine displacement, as well as a new lid seal. To complete the assembly, a new heavy duty air filter and period correct wing nut are included. A "Made in Canada" stamp has been added as a further level of authenticity. The wrinkle finish is very nice - it features typical surface characteristics (i.e. flat and low) to match the factory finish.
This assembly presents very well and will enhance your restoration. Best of all, it is a genuine Mopar part!

This assembly is correct for the following 1970-71 340 high performance models:
Dodge
Dart Swinger 340, Challenger 340, Charger/Super Bee (71), Demon 340
Plymouth
'Cuda 340, Duster 340
It will fit A/B/C/E-body cars ranging from 68-74 as well with the larger carburetor flange, but is only correct for 1970-71. It will also fit 383/440 models as well from this era.
FITMENT
The assembly will fit factory 4 barrel carburetors (Carter AVS/Thermoquad) with a 5 1/8" diameter flange to include Holley, Carter, and Edelbrock variations. If you have modified your carburetor, distributor, or intake manifold, please inquire first prior to bidding to ensure fitment is correct. Return requests for non-fitment will not be honored.
