1968-69 MOPAR UNSILENCED 340 AIR CLEANER DART GTS 'CUDA
1968-69 Mopar 340 Four Barrel Unsilenced Air Cleaner. This assembly has been refinished in wrinkle black to present a period correct image. The base is in excellent condition and features a 5 1/8" carburetor flange that fits the Carter AVS carburetors. A "Made In Canada" stamp has been recreated to further the authenticity and adds a nice touch to the black finish. The exterior features a new Mopar Air Cleaner Service Decal and driver side vent tube.
The lid features a new reproduction Mopar 340 Four Barrel pie pan* to augment your engine displacement - note these have been deleted by the bean counters at Mopar, so these are the last of the ones available. To complete the assembly, a new heavy duty air filter and period correct wing nut are included. A "Made in Canada" stamp has been added as a further level of authenticity. The wrinkle finish is nice - it features typical surface characteristics to match the factory finish.
*Note that Mopar Performance has unfortunately deleted the engine identification pie pans from their stock assortment - as such, price points for the pie pans have nearly doubled, causing a rise in our price point as well.

This assembly is correct for the following 1968-69 340/383/440 high performance models:
Dodge
Dart GTS, Dart Swinger, Charger R/T, Coronet R/T, Super Bee
Plymouth
'Cuda 340, 'Cuda 383, 'Cuda 440, GTX, Sport Satellite, Sport Fury, Road Runner
(with the change of pie pans available separately)
It will fit A/B/C/E-body cars ranging from 68-74 as well with the larger carburetor flange, but is only correct for 1968-69.
FITMENT
The assembly will fit factory 4 barrel carburetors (Carter AVS) with a 5 1/8" diameter flange to include Holley, Carter, and Edelbrock variations. If you have modified your carburetor or intake manifold, please inquire first prior to bidding to ensure fitment is correct. Return requests for non-fitment will not be honored.
