DESCRIPTION
OEM 1968-69 Chevrolet Chevelle SS /Impala SS /Nova SS /El Camino SS 396 325HP & 427 / 385/390HP Closed Element Re-chromed Air Cleaner Lid. This is a re-chromed OEM lid that will enhance the appearance of your engine compartment for the 68-69 Big Block Chevrolet closed element air cleaner assemblies. This was an originally chromed unit sent out and rechromed. The exterior shines brilliantly and presents very nicely; the interior features typical evidence of the chroming process (i.e. jig marks, better than OEM chrome finish). The lid received its original seal, making it ready to install.
Note that the current iteration of reproduced lids are close, but will not allow the use of OEM air filters due its design - an easy way to discern the difference between originals.
To add further distinction, GM licensed 396 Cross Flags and Turbo-Jet 325HP decals are included and complement the overall assembly.

FITMENT
The assembly will fit factory 1968-69 4 barrel big block small diameter air cleaner assemblies featuring the closed element. Return requests for non-fitment will not be honored.
