1967 OLDSMOBILE CUTLASS 442 CLIMATIC COMBUSTION CONTROL AIR CLEANER
DESCRIPTION
OEM 1967 Oldsmobile Cutlass 4-4-2 Climatic Combustion Control 2V Air Cleaner. This is an original survivor assembly that retains a factory original appearance for over 50 years! The dual inlet air cleaner was GM's foray into the evolving emissions requirements levied by the early EPA leadership at the time. The assembly is a three piece unit consisting of the 2V base (3" carburetor flange), lid, and adorning aluminum garnish plate. This assembly is specific to 1967 cars due to the one-year only option.
The base is straight and retains the factory original paint. There is very little wear on the unit and all edges are straight. The OEM paint is remarkably good with very little issue considering it is over 50 years old! The interior is clean and free from oxidation as well. The original lid is straight and fits nicely onto the base and wears very good original paint as well. The original aluminum garnish pan has aged patina and is reasonably straight as well. To complete the package, a new heavy duty air filter, along with a plate retainer and wing nut, is included.
This assembly presents well as a survivor and will enhance your restoration. Best of all, it is a genuine GM part!

Cutlass L66 Turnpike Cruiser, Cutlass Supreme, 4-4-2, Vista Cruiser, Delta 88, Regency 98, Toronado
This assembly is a one-year only piece due to the nature of the snorkel, pre-heater inlet location, and valve cover breather element.
FITMENT
The assembly will fit factory 2 barrel Rochester carburetors with a 3" diameter flange. Adapters for 4V carburetors (such as Holley (non-double pumpers), Quadrajet, Carter, and Edelbrock variations) may be available through separate channels. If you have modified your carburetor, intake manifold or valve covers, please inquire first prior to bidding to ensure fitment is correct. Return requests for non-fitment will not be honored.
