1962-66 PLYMOUTH BARRACUDA 225 SUPER UNSILENCED AIR CLEANER

DESCRIPTION

OEM 1962-66 Mopar 225 Super Slant Six Unsilenced Air Cleaner. This assembly has been refinished in 60% gloss black to present a period correct image. The base is in nice condition and features a 2 1/4" carburetor flange that fits the Carter 1 barrel carburetors. The exterior features a new reproduction Mopar licensed Super 225 Decal (to be installed at purchase) and air cleaner service decal. Both the top and base interiors have been refinished to provide a better level of protection from surface rust with minimal surface issues. To complete the assembly, a new heavy duty air filter is included. A "Made In Canada" stamp has been added to each interior as a nice touch of authenticity.

A Charger 225 decal is available if preferred for the Dodge applications - please let us know at time of purchase if this is desired.

APPLICATIONS

This assembly is correct for the following 1962-66  slant six models without CAP:

PLYMOUTH

Barracuda, Savoy, Satellite, Fury,

DODGE

Dart, Dart GT, Coronet, Polara, Power Wagon

It will fit A/B/C/E-body cars ranging from 62-74 as well, but does feature the air breather tube (CAP) fitting. It is correct for the years specified, but can be used on earlier and later models as well.

 

FITMENT

 

The assembly will fit factory 1 barrel carburetors (Carter) with a 2 1/4" diameter flange. If you have modified your carburetor or intake manifold, please inquire first prior to bidding to ensure fitment is correct. Return requests for non-fitment will not be honored.

WARRANTY

RETURNS

Assemblies must be returned in the original packing – customers are responsible for return shipping charges. A refund will be issued upon receipt of the inspected assembly. Returns for non-fitment will not be honored – please ask questions first.
