DESCRIPTION

 

1962-66 Mopar 383 HP Unsilenced Air Cleaner with CAP. This assembly has been refinished in mid-gloss black to present a period correct image. The original base is clean and features a 4 1/8" carburetor flange that fits the early style Carter AFB carburetors.  The top features the correct ridges and size appropriate for the 383/413 HP models; there are minor imperfections in the top - hard to see, but mentioned for clarity. The exterior features a new Mopar Air Cleaner Service Decal to complement the appearance and retain a factory look. To complete the assembly, a new heavy duty air filter and period correct wing nut are included. 

This assembly presents well and will enhance your restoration. Best of all, it is a genuine Mopar part!

APPLICATIONS

This assembly is correct for the following 1962-66 383/413 high performance models that feature CAP:

Dodge

Coronet, Polara, 330, Charger, 

Plymouth

Belvedere, Sport Satellite, Sport Fury

It will fit A/B/C-body cars ranging from 56-66 as well with the small carburetor flange, but is only correct for 1962-66.

FITMENT

The assembly will fit 4 barrel carburetors with a 5 1/8" diameter flange (most Holley, Carter, and Edelbrock variations). If you have modified your carburetor or intake manifold, please inquire first prior to bidding to ensure fitment is correct. Return requests for non-fitment will not be honored.

WARRANTY

This assembly is guaranteed to match the item description – customers have up to 14 days to return the assembly after receipt if it is not as described.

RETURNS

Assemblies must be returned in the original packing – customers are responsible for return shipping charges. A refund will be issued upon receipt of the inspected assembly. Returns for non-fitment will not be honored – please ask questions first.

CLAIMS

In the event of shipping damage, customers must save all packaging and send 5 digital pictures so Musclecar Air Cleaners can initiate a shipping damage claim.
