OEM 1955-57 Pontiac Star Chief/Chieftan/860/870/Safari oil bath air cleaner in nice condition. This assembly has been refinished to the original look of the 1955-57 cars featuring the four barrel oil bath with cannister air cleaners. The base features a crisp interior, clear "oil fill" marks, clean oil bath filter, and an OEM gasket. The top features the correct recessed starburst lines, a nice intake barrel, and a GM licensed reproduction service decal featuring the Pontiac script. The filter insert has been cleaned throroughly (mineral spirits as per the OEM instructions) and is ready to use. The inside of the assembly is very clean. Overall, the top presents nicely and retains the factory impressions/striations typical from the stamping process. Also included is a period correct wing nut that secures the assembly to the carburetor stud (not included).

FITMENT

This assembly will fit factory 4 barrel carburetors with the 4 1/8" flange (OEM Carter AFB/Carter WCAFB, & Rochester 4GC). If you have modified your carburetor or intake manifold, please inquire first prior to bidding to ensure fitment is correct. Return requests for non-fitment will not be honored.
