1957 MOPAR CHRYSLER 300C 392 HEMI SIDE DRAFT 4V DUAL AIR CLEANERS OEM

DESCRIPTION

1957 Chrysler 300 392 Side Draft Hemi 4V Air Cleaner set. This is a pair of assemblies that have been refinished in gold to present a period correct image. The bases are in nice condition and features a 4 1/8" carburetor flange that fits the original Carter WCFB carburetors, as well as the lower stanchions for support brackets (not included). The top features the correct lettering and an internal baffle updated with a modern filter. The exteriors feature new reproduction Mopar licensed and correct PN Air Cleaner Service Decals to complement the appearance and retain a factory appearance. To complete the assemblies, new heavy duty air filters and factory correct wing nut studs are included, as well as carburetor wing nuts. Note that we used a gold that mirrored the original color as found under the air cleaner service decal, as well as refinishing them the way they were previously finished from the factory.  The last picture illustrates the installation and application of the assemblies as installed using the factory methodology.

These assemblies are in very nice condition and will enhance your restoration. Best of all, these are an ultra-rare set of genuine Mopar parts.

Many of our parts are extremely limited in availability - this set is a prime example. There is no guarantee that we will be able to provide another set due to rarity, scarcity of parts, and market dynamics. As such, the adage "Here today, gone tomorrow" applies.

APPLICATIONS

This assembly is correct for the following 1957 392 Hemi models:

Chrysler

300 / 375HP

While these have been seen installed on multiple dual four barrel hemi cars of the late 50's, they are technically correct for the 57 300 only.

FITMENT

The assembly will fit factory 4 barrel carburetors (Carter WCFB) with a 4 1/8" diameter flange only; these assemblies will require a support bracket to be installed for proper installation. If you have modified your carburetor or intake manifold, please inquire first prior to bidding to ensure fitment is correct. Return requests for non-fitment will not be honored.

WARRANTY

This assembly is guaranteed to match the item description – customers have up to 14 days to return the assembly after receipt if it is not as described.

RETURNS

Assemblies must be returned in the original packing – customers are responsible for return shipping charges. A refund will be issued upon receipt of the inspected assembly. Returns for non-fitment will not be honored – please ask questions first.

CLAIMS

In the event of shipping damage, customers must save all packaging and send 5 digital pictures so Musclecar Air Cleaners can initiate a shipping damage claim.
