DESCRIPTION

1957-58 Mopar Chrysler Desoto Plymouth 354 392 Side Draft Hemi 4V Air Cleaner. This assembly has been refinished in semi-gloss black to present a period correct image. The base is in good condition and maintains the original 4 1/8" carburetor flange that fits the original Carter AFB carburetors, as well two side mounting bolts (mount pedastals not included). It does feature typical stamping striations and factory weld marks. The lid features the "TOP" stamping, an original wing nut, and an internal baffle with new filter material - all fitted with an NOS heavy duty perforated air filter. The interior of the lid and base have been refinished to mimic steel, but cleared to prevent typical flash surface issues. The exterior displays a Mopar Air Cleaner Service Decal to complement the appearance and retain a factory look. To complete the assembly, a period correct lid wing nut and top mount wing nut are included. There are minor finish imperfections - hard to see once installed, but mentioned for clarity.

FITMENT

The assembly will fit factory 4 barrel carburetors (Carter AFB) with a 4 1/8" diameter flange only. If you have modified your carburetor or intake manifold, please inquire first prior to bidding to ensure fitment is correct. Return requests for non-fitment will not be honored.
