FIREBIRD TRANS AM CAMARO Z28 HURST DUAL GATE SHIFTER 70-81
DESCRIPTION
Hurst Dual Gate Shifter for 70-81 Pontiac Trans Am Firebird Formula and 73-81 Chevrolet Camaro Z28. This assembly is a take out from a customer car that is in good condition. It features the correct mounting pedastals for the 70-81 F-body cars and mounts directly in place of the OEM shifter. It comes complete with an original Hurst labeled shifter with very good chrome with only slight wear below the shifter gate. It has a new style shifter ball, billet aluminum console mounting plate, Allen head screws, and chrome sliding lockout plate. All parts function as they should, as the unit was recently serviced. The bottom light indicator with matching gate selector has been modified to fit the base mounting plate and is in good condition too. You will need a Hurst specific shifter cable to make sure all gears function: the factory cable tends to not allow shifting into low. As with all after-market parts, you may need to make minor adjustments/modifications at time of installation.
Includes Hurst Dual Gate Installation instructions for 2nd generation F-bodies to make it easy to install.

FITMENT
This part will fit Pontiac/Chevrolet F-body cars from 1970-1981 with automatic consoles. Note that it will NOT fit 70-72 Camaros due to the differences in center consoles.
