DESCRIPTION
OEM 1969-70 AMC 390 The Machine SC/Rambler Ram Air Snorkel. This is a take-off snorkel from the two year only limited offerings for AMC's big 390 fresh air cars. The snorkel has been refinished to represent the factory appearance as produced for the limited 69-70 models. It features the correct snorkel inlet housing with flanges that bolt on to the OEM air cleaner (not included).
With so few of these left due to early owners discarding them in favor of open element air filter assemblies, they have become increasingly difficult to find (in any condition).
This is a unique item to our store inventory-many items are only available once.
This part presents well and will enhance your restoration. Best of all, it is a rare and genuine AMC part.
APPLICATIONS
This assembly is correct for the following 1969-70 models:

SC/Rambler, THE MACHINE
It will fit a variety of AMC engines up through 1970 - 290, 343, 360, 401 with the smaller diameter air cleaner. Note this style differs from the full snorkels by the omission of the pre-heater and snorkel extension found on non-fresh air cars.
FITMENT
The assembly will fit factory AMC air cleaners from 68-70 featuring a removable snorkel. If you have modified your air cleaner, please inquire first prior to purchase to ensure fitment is correct. Return requests for non-fitment will not be honored.

WARRANTY

RETURNS
Assemblies must be returned in the original packing – customers are responsible for return shipping charges. A refund will be issued upon receipt of the inspected assembly. Returns for non-fitment will not be honored – please ask questions first.
CLAIMS
In the event of shipping damage, customers must save all packaging and send 5 digital pictures so Musclecar Air Cleaners can initiate a shipping damage claim.
