1977-79 PONTIAC TRANS AM SHAKER SCOOP OLDS 403 L80
DESCRIPTION
OEM 1977-79 Pontiac Trans Am Olds 403 L80 Shaker Hood Scoop. This is an original shaker hood scoop that is in excellent overall original condition. The original Starlight black paint has held up well, as have the original decals. The fiberglass is very nice with a nice original patina as well. The base plate is correct for the 403 Olds engines - the 6.6 Litre indicates such. The base plate also features the original matching stainless steel band clamp too. The back of the scoop inlet is original and has NOT been cut - hard to find these days. The interior features the Barnum Brothers details, as well as a stamped date code. Comes with an original stainless steel band clamp nut/square bolt; the plastic drain is also included.
As an added bonus, a very nice original seal is included - this can be reused after restoration, or as is.
There are no apparent/obvious cracks anywhere to be found on the assemlby.

APPLICATIONS
This assembly is correct for the following 1977-79 models:
Pontiac
Trans Am with 403 Olds L80 engine
*It will not fit 301/400/455 Pontiac engines or 305/350 Chevy engines due to the height and offset of the shaker base plate adapter.
Note: this will NOT fit the 455 Olds engines due to the height of the Olds big block carburetor plenum. Use of a 69 Olds 455 intake manifold is the only low profile intake manifold that may allow adequate clearance - this is not guaranteed as it may take further modifications to make fit properly.
FITMENT
The assembly will fit factory 16.5" shaker air cleaner base and on factory height intake manifolds. If you have modified your carburetor or intake manifold, please inquire first prior to bidding to ensure fitment is correct. Return requests for non-fitment will not be honored.

RETURNS

CLAIMS
