1974 MOPAR 360 400 FOUR BARREL AIR CLEANER A/E-BODY CUDA CHALLENGER DART SPORT DUSTER 360
DESCRIPTION
OEM 1974 Mopar 360 Four Barrel Oval Snorkel Air Cleaner. This assembly has been media blasted and refinished in hemi orange to present a period correct image. The base is in good condition and features the single short oval snorkel specific to the A/E-Body 360 4V cars. It features the 5 1/8" flange that will fit OEM Carter Thermoquads and comes with the correct Mopar air cleaner service decal. The inside surfaces are clean and retain factory stamping indentations; there are minor floor imperfections no visible once installed (mentioned for clarity). The factory breather filter tube and snorkel baffle are intact and maintain the factory function. An original OSAC valve with correct gasket and retaining bolts is included - note that the typical missing bottom nipple has been repaired to be functional again.
The lid is in good condition and garnished with a Mopar licensed 360 Four Barrel decal as applied by the factory. A "Made in Canada" stamp has been added to the base and lid as a nice touch of authenticity. A new lid seal has been installed to ensure proper sealing to the base. A new heavy duty air filter and period correct wing nut are included to complete the assembly.
As an added bonus, a new aluminized pre-heater tube is included to make installation more complete.
This assembly is specific to the 1974 A/E-Body E-58 models listed below. It is in nice condition and will enhance your restoration.

Note that 1974 featured another similar version with a longer snorkel - this would fit B/C body cars.
FITMENT
The assembly will fit factory 4 barrel Carter Thermoquad carburetors or others with the 5 1/8" flange (as well as Edelbrock/Holley/Carter AVS carburetors with the 5 1/8" flange). If you have modified your carburetor or intake manifold, please inquire first prior to bidding to ensure fitment is correct. Return requests for non-fitment will not be honored.
