1974 CHEVROLET CAMARO Z28 DUAL SNORKEL AIR CLEANER L48 POINTS W/CHROME PACKAGE

DESCRIPTION

OEM 1974 Chevrolet Camaro Z28 Dual Snorkel Air Cleaner. This assembly has been media blasted and refinished in the correct semi-gloss black finish to present a period correct image. The base features dual snorkels that are in excellent condition along with a new breather filter, new heavy duty air filter, and a recreated date stamp. The exterior features a reproduced Air Cleaner Service Decal (DP=74). The dual snorkel air cleaner is specific to original 74 cars with the points distributor (early); it will not fit the HEI cars produced halfway through the production year. There are two very minor scratches near the air filter breather clip-out of sight once installed, but mentioned for clarity.

The beautiful triple chrome-plated reproduction lid is an excellent addition to the assembly and features a new seal to ensure correct sealing. To complete the package, a GM licensedTurbo-Jet  350/300 Horsepower decal is included (not original, but certainly adds a nice flair) and a period correct chrome wing nut are included. 

This assembly is in excellent condition and will enhance your restoration. Best of all, it is a rare and genuine GM part!

APPLICATIONS

The assembly is correct for cars equipped with a points style distributor (early); it will NOT fit HEI distributors.

FITMENT

The assembly will fit factory 4 barrel Quadrajet carburetors with a 5 1/8" diameter flange, as well as Holley, Carter, and Edelbrock variations (some adjustment to the carburetor alignment tangs may be required). Fits both A/C and non A/C cars.If you have modified your carburetor or intake manifold, please inquire first prior to bidding to ensure fitment is correct. Return requests for non-fitment will not be honored.
