DESCRIPTION

1973-76 Pontiac Trans Am W72 L78 400 / 455 Fresh Air Duct. This is the correct OEM 4" fresh air fiber duct that was used on all Pontiac Trans Ams/Formulas from 1973-1976. It is NOS in condition and comes in the original worn/marked box. This hose features a 4" diameter opening on both ends with formed plastic locking clips and 13 spiral bands. The 4" fiber hose covers the spiral wrapped insert - providing flexibility that is required to bridge the gap between the air cleaner inlet and fender mounted fresh air duct. It installs on your WS4 oval to round intake adapter (not included); the connection point is at the elbow duct near the fender.

This is an NOS original part that has completely disappeared from the reproduction process with fiber material.

FITMENT

The assembly will fit factory 4 barrel air cleaner adapters as found on the 73-76 Trans Ams. It is different from aftermarket units in the form of how it is made (fiber vs vinyl and clamp style). 77-79 models used an updated vinyl style hose.  Return requests for non-fitment will not be honored.

CLAIMS

In the event of shipping damage, customers must save all packaging and send 5 digital pictures so Musclecar Air Cleaners can initiate a shipping damage claim. This item is shipped fully insured.
