DESCRIPTION
OEM 1969-72 Chevrolet Truck Air Cleaner. This assembly has been refinished in the correct 60% gloss black finish to present a period correct image. The base features the single snorkel with ThermAC vacuum preheater door and new white striped vacuum lines along with the correct ATS sensor and retaining clip. The exterior is dressed with a reproduction Air Cleaner Service Decal (LU=71-72 Truck). As a nice finishing touch, an original date stamp has been added for for further authenticity.
A very nice original dimpled lid enhances the classic musclecar appearance and includes an original seal. To complete the package, a new heavy duty air filter and a period correct wing nut are included. It is garnished with a GM licensed 400/300HP Turbo-Fire decal (loosely installed)-correct for the 71-72 model years.
This assembly is in nice condition and will enhance your restoration. Best of all, it is a genuine GM part!

APPLICATIONS
This assembly is correct for the following:
1970-72 Chevrolet/GMC
396/400/402 with both 4 speed and automatic transmissions to include:
C/10, Cheyenne, Suburban, GMC, C/K, Sierra, Highlander, CST/10
Note the the truck air cleaner assembly is specific to the truck platforms and differs from the car assemblies by way of both the size of the snorkel and its orientation. It also used a spacer replete with a nipple for the valve cover breather option in lieu of the filter breather found on passenger car air cleaner assemblies.
FITMENT
The assembly will fit factory 4 barrel Quadrajet carburetors with a 5 1/8" diameter flange, as well as Holley (non double-pumper), Carter, and Edelbrock variations without electric choke (some adjustment to the carburetor alignment tangs may be required). If you have modified your carburetor, intake manifold, or valve covers, please inquire first prior to bidding to ensure fitment is correct. Return requests for non-fitment will not be honored.

WARRANTY
This assembly is guaranteed to match the item description – customers have up to 14 days to return the assembly after receipt if it is not as described.
RETURNS
Assemblies must be returned in the original packing – customers are responsible for return shipping charges. A refund will be issued upon receipt of the inspected assembly. Returns for non-fitment will not be honored – please ask questions first.
CLAIMS
