1968-72 CHEVROLET 396 454 PRE-HEATERT STOVE FABCO

OEM 1968-72 Chevrolet Camaro/Chevelle El Camino SS 396/454 LS3/LS5/L78 Air Cleaner Pre-Heater Shroud Stove. This is an original 50+ year-old pre-heater exhaust manifold stove that has been media blasted to bare metal, reworked, then coated with high heat ceramic low gloss black that should minimize further deterioration. The manifold stove is a rarity due to the "day 2" updates of owners discarding them. It has been reworked externally to get as near to original appearances as possible. The inside has been refinished as well, but not to the same standard. It retains the square insert with screw hole where the chimney tube adapter inserts (not included). 

This piece is in good condition and will replace your missing original stove and enhance your restoration. Best of all, it is a rare and genuine GM part!

This assembly is correct for the following models:

Camaro SS / Chevelle SS / El Camino SS / Monte Carlo SS L78/LS3 396/400 or LS5 454 

The assembly is exclusive for cars equipped with 396/454 without cowl induction hoods with the exceptions of 71-72 A-body cars (it does fit these models). This is for the stove only; the chimney and pre-heater tube that attach to it are not included with this item.

The assembly will fit factory exhaust manifolds. If you have modified your exhaust manifolds, please inquire first prior to bidding to ensure fitment is correct. Return requests for non-fitment will not be honored.
