1962-67 Mopar 273 383 4V Unsilenced Chrome Air Cleaner
DESCRIPTION
1964-67 Mopar 273 4V 62-64 383 Chrome Unsilenced Air Cleaner. This assembly has been rechromed to a beautiful standard. Overall, it presents to a stunning visual representation. The top is garnished with a Mopar Licensed era correct air cleaner service decal. A replacement base has been refinished and is in nice condition and features a 5 1/8" carburetor flange that fits the Carter AVS/Edlebrock/Holley large flange carburetors. There is no CAP vent tube on this assembly - you can always add it to the base if required. The interior of the top features typical flash chrome finishing which will prevent typcial rusting associated with unfinished metal. To complete the assembly, a new heavy duty air filter and period correct chrome wing nut are included.
This assembly is in exceptionally nice condition and will enhance your restoration. Best of all, it is a genuine Mopar part!

A word about rechroming. Due to the extensive costs associated with maintaining EPA requirements, the cost of chroming parts has escalated. Many chrome shops have gone out of business as a result of the EPA's crackdown on environmental impacts. We have found a company that complies with the laws governing heavy chemicals, as well as providing a quality product. While the costs are higher, we feel the investment is worth the end result.

This assembly is correct for the following 1962-67 273/383 high performance models:
Dodge
Dart, Polara, 330, Charger, Coronet
Plymouth
Barracuda, Belvedere, Satellite
It will fit A/B/C-body cars ranging from 62-74. It will also fit 413/426/440 models as well from this era.
FITMENT
The assembly will fit factory 4 barrel carburetors (Carter AVS/Thermoquad, Edlebrock AFB/Holley) with a 5 1/8" diameter flange. It will not fit the original OEM carburetor (Carter AFB) due to the smaller 4 1/8" carburetor flange of this era. If you have modified your carburetor or intake manifold, please inquire first prior to bidding to ensure fitment is correct. Return requests for non-fitment will not be honored.
