76 77 78 L48 L82 350 CORVETTE AIR CLEANER

DESCRIPTION

OEM 1976-78 Chevrolet Corvette L48 L82 350 Oval Snorkel Air Cleaner. This assembly has been media blasted and refinished in the correct semi-gloss black finish to present a period correct image. The base features single 6" oval snorkel in good condition, ThermAC vacuum motor, new yellow striped vacuum lines, and a GM licensed reproduction air cleaner service decal (EY=76).

A reproduction chrome lid is an excellent addition to the assembly and features a new seal to ensure correct sealing. To complete the package, a new heavy duty air filter, breather filter, GM stamped ribbed adapter, and a period correct wing nut are included. 

As an added value, an original Corvette specific pre-heater metal 90 degree elbow is included, making installation that much more complete.

This assembly is in nice condition and will enhance your restoration. Best of all, it is a genuine GM part!

The assembly is correct for cars equipped with 350s; 78 L82 cars reverted to the dual snorkel assemblies.  

FITMENT

The assembly will fit factory 4 barrel Quadrajet carburetors with a 5 1/8" diameter flange, as well as most Holley (not double pumpers), Carter, and Edelbrock variations (some adjustment to the carburetor alignment tangs may be required). Fits both A/C and non A/C cars.If you have modified your carburetor or intake manifold, please inquire first prior to bidding to ensure fitment is correct. Return requests for non-fitment will not be honored.

WARRANTY

RETURNS

Assemblies must be returned in the original packing – customers are responsible for return shipping charges. A refund will be issued upon receipt of the inspected assembly. Returns for non-fitment will not be honored – please ask questions first.
