DESCRIPTION
Mopar Performance 1970-71 Mopar 340 / 440 Six Pack Six Barrel Air Cleaner assembly. The base has been refinished in the correct semi-gloss black finish to present a period correct image and is in nice condition with very clean carburetor flanges and retaining bars in excellent condition. The exterior seal flange features typical factory stamping waves and the correct oil filter breather inlet tube on the passenger's rear side. The OEM factory Part Number and "Made in Canada" stamp has been added as a further measure of authenticity. The factory issued water baffle remains in place, allowing for a variety of applications to take advantage of the fresh air capabilities.
The matching lid is very nice as well and is garnished with a Mopar Licensed air cleaner service decal. The inside has a "Made in Canada" and correct PN stamps to further the level of authenticity. The top is installed with the included pair of period correct wing nuts. Note that there is a very light bend on the rear of the passenger side of the lid - hard to see once installed, but mentioned for clarity. The 440 Magnum Six Pack or 440 SIx Barrel decal adds a very nice touch and enhances the overal condition (temporarily installed - permanent installation to be made by the buyer as required). To complete the assembly, a new K&N high performance air filter is included to make the assembly ready to install.

This assembly will fit a myriad of A/B/C bodies without the Air Grabber/Ram Charger N96 fresh air systems. Please inquire if you are unsure of fitment options. Please note that this assembly is not compatible with Shaker baseplates, nor as an original 69 or 70 E-body N96 fresh air car base.
Note: the base will fit LA/B/RB deck engines (340/383/400/440); there may be interference with the two speed wiper motors.
FITMENT
The assembly will fit factory Holley 3X2 carburetors sitting atop Edelbrock or Mopar aluminum intakes. If you have modified your carburetor or intake manifold (i.e. with spacers), please inquire first prior to bidding to ensure fitment is correct. Return requests for non-fitment will not be honored.
