DESCRIPTION

OEM 1969-71 Chevrolet Chevelle Nova Camaro SS 350/300HP Air Cleaner. This assembly has been refinished in the correct 60% gloss black finish to present a period correct image. The base features the single snorkel with ThermAC vacuum preheater door and new white striped / black vacuum lines along with the correct ATS sensor and retaining clip. The exterior is dressed with a GM licensed reproduction Air Cleaner Service Decal (CR=1969). As a nice finishing touch, an original date stamp has been added for for further authenticity.  

 

A very nice replacement chrome lid enhances the classic musclecar appearance and includes a new seal. To complete the package, a new heavy duty air filter, new breather filter, and period correct wing nut are included. To add further distinction, a GM licensed 350 /300HP Turbo-Fire decal (loosely installed) complements the overall assembly. 

As an added bonus, an original breather tube with GM stamped adapter AND pre-heater tube is included to make installation more complete!

This assembly is in nice condition and will enhance your restoration. Best of all, it is a genuine GM part!

APPLICATIONS

 

This assembly is correct for the following:

1969-71 Chevrolet

350/300HP or 350/270HP Chevelle SS/Camaro SS/Nova SS /El Camino Automatic models

Note: 4 Speed equipped cars featured the straight snorkel only for 69; for 70, all models came with the ThermAC preheather. Note that the air cleaner service decal is specific to 1969.

FITMENT

 

The assembly will fit factory 4 barrel Quadrajet carburetors with a 5 1/8" diameter flange, as well as Holley (non double-pumper), Carter, and Edelbrock variations without electric choke (some adjustment to the carburetor alignment tangs may be required). If you have modified your carburetor, intake manifold, or valve covers, please inquire first prior to bidding to ensure fitment is correct. Return requests for non-fitment will not be honored.

It will not fit 1968 models due to the orientation of the snorkel and filter breather outlet (all indexed to the LH/Driver's Side)

RETURNS

Assemblies must be returned in the original packing – customers are responsible for return shipping charges. A refund will be issued upon receipt of the inspected assembly. Returns for non-fitment will not be honored – please ask questions first.

 

CLAIMS
