DESCRIPTION

 

1982-87 Chevrolet Monte Carlo SS 305 HO 4 Barrel Air Cleaner. The assembly has been refinished in  semi-gloss black finish to present a period correct image. The single oval snorkel is in good condition and features a fully functional ThermAC pre-heater along with new vacuum lines. The base is clean and comes with a correct air temperature sensor (ATS) installed with a GM retainer.  New black vacuum lines have been installed from the ThermAC valve to the ATS, then another line for carburetor vacuum connection.

 

An original black lid enhances the appearance and includes an original seal for proper operation. To complete the package, a new heavy duty air filter, new breather filter, and period correct wing nut are included. 

This assembly also includes an excellent fresh air plastic duct replete with mounting screws, as well as a factory oval fresh air hose.

This assembly presents nicely and will enhance your restoration. Best of all, it is a genuine GM part!

FITMENT

 

The assembly will fit factory 4 barrel Quadrajet carburetors with a 5 1/8" diameter flange, as well as Holley (non-double pumpers), Carter, and Edelbrock variations without electric choke (some adjustment to the carburetor alignment tangs may be required). If you have modified your carburetor or intake manifold, please inquire first prior to bidding to ensure fitment is correct. Return requests for non-fitment will not be honored.

WARRANTY

This assembly is guaranteed to match the item description – customers have up to 14 days to return the assembly after receipt if it is not as described.

 

RETURNS

Assemblies must be returned in the original packing – customers are responsible for return shipping charges. A refund will be issued upon receipt of the inspected assembly. Returns for non-fitment will not be honored – please ask questions first.
