1979-81 PONTIAC TRANS AM 10TH ANNIVERSARY REAR DISC BRAKE BACKING PLATES
DESCRIPTION
OEM 1979-81 Pontiac Firebird/Trans Am/Formula Rear Disc Brake Backing Plates. This is a set of very good rear disc brake backing plates for both Left & Right F-body 10 bolt rear ends. The brackets have been cleaned and refinished to a nice standard. All of the holes are clean and there are no alterations from factory stampings. These mount to the rear axle in place of the drum brake backing plate, then allow the installation of disc rotors and calipers (readily available at larger automotive supply stores).

These fit 1970-81 F-body Firebird/Trans Am/Formula & Chevrolet Camaro/RS/SS/Z28 8.5" 10 bolt rear ends.
The parts present well and will replace the incorrect/missing pieces for your restoration. Best of all, they are genuine GM parts!
