1974 MOPAR 400 FOUR BARREL DUAL SNORKEL AIR CLEANER ROAD RUNNER CHARGER
DESCRIPTION
OEM 1974 Mopar 400 Four Barrel Dual Snorkel Air Cleaner. This assembly has been media blasted and refinished in the correct Hemi Orange to present a period correct image. Both snorkels are in good condition and feature fully functional pre-heaters. The base is very clean and features an excellent air temperature sensor (ATS) installed with the correct push-on retainers. The exterior is garnished with a Mopar reproduction Air Cleaner Service Decal (72-74) and new vacuum lines. The original NOS/OSAC valve is included and features the correct bolts and gasket; the bottom nipple has been repaired since most were broken during servicing.
The lid is OEM and features the large center cone with a Mopar licensed 400 Four Barrel decal (loosely installed). A new reproduction Mopar lid seal has been installed to ensure correct sealing. A "Made in Canada" stamp has been added to both the base and lid as a nice touch of authenticity. To complete the assembly, a new heavy duty air filter and period correct wing nut are included.
This was the last year where a true Mopar performance engine would be available in an image car. The rare Road Runner with the GTX option, as well as the Charger SE and Mr. Norm's Charger conversions would feature this style of air cleaner, albeit with a 440 Four Barrel. This was also the last year where the air cleaners would be painted hemi orange and feature the large style air cleaner displacement decals.
This assembly is in nice condition and will enhance your restoration. Best of all, it is a genuine Mopar part!

FITMENT
The assembly will fit factory 4 barrel carburetors (Carter Thermoquad) with a 5 1/8" diameter flange to include Holley, Carter, and Edelbrock variations. If you have modified your carburetor or intake manifold, please inquire first prior to bidding to ensure fitment is correct. Return requests for non-fitment will not be honored.
