1974 MOPAR 360 FOUR BARREL AIR CLEANER CUDA CHALLENGER DUSTER DART SPORT
DESCRIPTION
OEM 1974 Mopar 360 Four Barrel Oval Snorkel Air Cleaner. This assembly has been media blasted and refinished in hemi orange to present a period correct image. The base is in nice condition and features the single short oval snorkel specific to the 360 4V A/E-body cars. It features the 5 1/8" flange that will fit OEM Carter Thermoquads and comes with the correct Mopar licensed air cleaner service decal. The inside surfaces are very clean and retain factory stamping indentations.The factory breather filter tube and snorkel baffle are intact and maintain the factory function. An original NOS Distributor/Carburetor valve with correct gasket and retaining bolts is included.
The lid is in good condition and features the correct Mopar licensed 360 Four Barrel decal as applied by the factory; there is a minor impression on the back side (largely out of sight once installed, but mentioned for clarity). A "Made in Canada" stamp has been added to the base and lid as a nice touch of authenticity. A new lid seal has been installed to ensure proper sealing to the base. The assembly is completed with a new heavy duty air filter and period correct wing nut.
As an added value, a nice surviving breather filter with Mopar hose and aluminized pre-heater hose are included to complete the installation.
This assembly is specific to the 1974 E-58 models listed below.

Note that 1974 featured another similar version with a longer snorkel - this would fit B/C body 400/440 cars.
FITMENT
The assembly will fit factory 4 barrel Carter Thermoquad carburetors or others with the 5 1/8" flange (as well as Edelbrock/Holley/Carter AVS carburetors with the 5 1/8" flange). If you have modified your carburetor or intake manifold, please inquire first prior to bidding to ensure fitment is correct. Return requests for non-fitment will not be honored.
