DESCRIPTION

OEM 1973-79 Pontiac Trans Am Pontiac W72 400/455 Shaker Air Cleaner Stainless Steel Clamp Ring. This is an OEM stainless band clamp/ring for the large 17" Pontiac/Oldsmobile Shaker air cleaner assemblies in very good original condition. The stainless is clean and shows minimal wear from age. The original screw with square nut works properly as well. This will secure the shaker scoop adapter to the air cleaner base correctly. The clamp is straight and ready to install.

This assembly presents very nicely and will enhance your restoration. Best of all, it is a genuine GM part!

APPLICATIONS

This assembly is correct for the following 1973-79 models:

Pontiac

Trans Am with 400 / 455 Pontiac engine; Olds 403

Note: this will NOT fit the Pontiac 301/Chevrolet 305/350 engines due to the air cleaner size (smaller).  

FITMENT

The assembly will fit factory Pontiac TA air cleaners with a 16 7/8" diameter base. If you have modified your air cleaner, please inquire first prior to bidding to ensure fitment is correct. Return requests for non-fitment will not be honored.

WARRANTY

This assembly is guaranteed to match the item description – customers have up to 14 days to return the assembly after receipt if it is not as described.

RETURNS

Assemblies must be returned in the original packing – customers are responsible for return shipping charges. A refund will be issued upon receipt of the inspected assembly. Returns for non-fitment will not be honored – please ask questions first.

CLAIMS

In the event of shipping damage, customers must save all packaging and send 5 digital pictures so Musclecar Air Cleaners can initiate a shipping damage claim.
