1972-73 Mopar 400 Dual Snorkel Air Cleaner
OEM 1972-73 Mopar 400 Four Barrel Dual Snorkel Air Cleaner. This assembly has been media blasted and refinished in Hemi Orange to present a period correct image. The base is in nice condition and features the dual snorkels with fully functional vacuum doors. The base features the 5 1/8" flange that will fit OEM Carter AVS and Thermoquads and comes with the correct red/white/blue Mopar licensed air cleaner service decal. All new vacuum lines have been installed, along with the correct ATS replete with correct push pin retainers.
The lid is in nice condition and comes with typical stamp waves around the perimeter (hard to see once installed, but mentioned for clarity). There is a slightly enlarged wing nut hole on the top, as well as a very small indentation on the carburetor flange - all our of sight once installed, but mentioned for clarity. A "Made in Canada" stamp has been added to the base and lid as a nice touch of authenticity. A Mopar licensed 400 Four Barrel decal has been installed - a 440 decal could be installed on top if desired (but not included with this auction). The inside of the lid features a correct new seal too. A new heavy duty air filter and period correct wing nut are included to complete the assembly.
As added value, an original Mopar filter breather with hose and original clamps, as well as a new pre-heater hose, are included!
This assembly is in very nice condition and will enhance your restoration. The last picture is a previously restored assembly on a customer's car.

FITMENT
The assembly will fit factory 4 barrel Carter AVS/Thermoquad carburetors or others with the 5 1/8" flange (as well as most Edelbrock/Holley carburetors with the 5 1/8" flange). If you have modified your carburetor or intake manifold, please inquire first prior to bidding to ensure fitment is correct. Return requests for non-fitment will not be honored.
