DESCRIPTION

OEM 1971-74 AMC JAVELIN SST AMX 120MPH Speedometer. This is a nice original take-out 120 MPH speedometer for the 71-74 models. The dial indicator is very clean with little to no issues. It was in a well sealed cluster, so moisture accumulation has been minimized. The needle was previously touched up and is straight. The unit was tested and functions smoothly over a variety of speeds. The odometer works smoothly without jerking or issues; the rear tabs are all in tact as well.  

This part presents well and will enhance your restoration. Best of all, it is a genuine AMC product.

APPLICATIONS

 

This assembly is correct for the following 1971-74 models:

AMC

AMX, Javelin SST, 

AMX models came with 140MPH speedometers - while this will fit, it is not technically correct. 

 

FITMENT

 

The assembly will fit factory instrument cluster and is secured to the housing via two screws. If you are unsure of applications, please inquire first prior to purchase to ensure fitment is correct. Return requests for non-fitment will not be honored.
