1970-72 MOPAR 383 400 N96 AIR GRABBER RAM CHARGER AIR CLEANER CHARGER SUPER BEE ROAD RUNNER
OEM 1970-72 Mopar Air Grabber Ram Charger for 383/400 Super Commando / Coyote Duster / Magnum Four Barrel Air Grabber Air Cleaner. The original base has been refinished in the correct low-gloss black to present a period correct image. The base is in very good condition featuring a straight carburetor flange retaining both alignment tangs. The alignment bar is excellent as well and still maintains the braised fitting evidence. The exterior seal flange features typical factory stamping waves, as well as the breather filter nipple on the passenger side. The factory drains show signs of braising as well. A "Made In Canada" stamp has been atted as a further measure of authenticity.
The original lid is nice as well and is garnished with a Mopar Licensed air cleaner service decal. The inside has a "Made in Canada" stamp to further the level of authenticity. The top is installed with a period correct wing nut.
To complete the assembly, an NOS original Fram CA305V high performance perforated air filter is included to make the assembly ready to install and show quality.
This assembly is in very nice condition and will enhance your restoration. Best of all, it is a genuine Mopar part!

This assembly is correct for the following 1970-72 high performance models featuring the 383/400 (B deck) 4 barrel engines and the N96 Air Grabber/Ram Charger fresh air systems:

This assembly will fit a myriad of B/C bodies without the Air Grabber/Ram Charger fresh air systems. Please inquire if you are unsure of fitment options.
Note: the base is specific to the B deck engines (383/400) due to the height of the carburetor flange. It will not fit 413/426/440 RB deck engines due to the difference in height at the flange (sits too high) since the RB deck engines were taller and needed a shorter flange.
FITMENT
The assembly will fit factory Carter AVS 4 barrel carburetors with a 5 1/8" diameter flange and others to include Holley, Carter, and Edelbrock variations without electric choke (some adjustment to the tangs may be necessary). If you have modified your carburetor or intake manifold, please inquire first prior to bidding to ensure fitment is correct. Return requests for non-fitment will not be honored.
