OEM 1970-71 Buick GS Ram Air Air Cleaner Assembly in very nice condition. This assembly has been refinished to the original look of the 1970-71 cars featuring the four barrel Ram Air air cleaners. The base features a very clean interior, factory drain hole, correct Air Temperature Sensor, Dual snorkel inlets featuring new white-striped vacuum lines, a choice of GM air cleaner service decal (BX, AK, BC for either 70 or 71 350 or 455), and a new breather filter. A new chrome lid augments the assembly, adding more flare under the hood. The assembly is completed by adding a heavy duty air filter and period correct wing nut. The Stage 1 decal is included (left uninstalled) in the event your GS has that very rare option.

The Ram Air adapter piece is in very good condition as well. The bottom cups are complete and present well. As a exceptionally nice value, a new 455 decal has been added to the Ram Air adapter, adding a nice touch; the 350 is optional if it is preferred/required. To complement the entire assembly, a factory style date code has been added. New correct foams are installed via the factory methodology as well, ensuring fresh air is channeled from the hood adapters in through the Ram Air assembly.

As an added value, an original plastic Buick pre-heater elbow - replete with correct Buick Wittek tower clamp - is included to make installation more complete.

This assembly is in very nice condition and will enhance your restoration. Best of all, it is a genuine GM part!

APPLICATIONS

This assembly is correct for the following:

1970-71 Buick

Regal Gran Sport/GS with the 350 / 455 engine 

Note: this will also fit the 72 models WITHOUT the air pump; 72 models featured a triangulated driver's side cup to allow for the air pump - a visual and functional difference. It will not fit the 69 models due to the differences in valve cover requirements and pre-heater differences.

FITMENT

This assembly will fit factory 4 barrel carburetors with the 5 1/8" flange (Quadrajet). If you have modified your carburetor or intake manifold, please inquire first prior to bidding to ensure fitment is correct. Return requests for non-fitment will not be honored.
