1970 71 72 Mopar 383 Air Grabber Air Cleaner N96 400 Charger Super Bee Road Runner
1970-72 Mopar 383 400 Super Commando / 383 400 Magnum Coyote Duster Four Barrel Air Grabber Air Cleaner assembly. The original base has been refinished in the correct semi-gloss black to present a period correct image. The base is in nice condition with a clean carburetor flange featuring both factory carburetor alignment tangs. The original carburetor retainer bar is excellent as well. The exterior seal flange features typical factory stamping waves and the correct oil filter breather inlet tube on the passenger's (RH) rear side. The perimeter flange and interior flange areas feature typical factory stamping waves; the factory drains were braised in place and feature typical factory welding splatter. A "Made in Canada" stamp has been added as a further measure of authenticity.
The lid complements the base and is garnished with a Mopar licensed "Coyote Duster" decal and air cleaner service decal. The inside has a "Made in Canada" stamp to further the level of authenticity. The top is installed with a period correct wing nut.
To complete the assembly, an NOS high performance perforated air filter is included to make the assembly ready to install.
This assembly presents very well and will enhance your restoration. Best of all, it is a genuine Mopar part!

APPLICATIONS
This assembly is correct for the following 1970-72 high performance models featuring the 383/400 (B deck) 4 barrel engines and the N96 Air Grabber/Ram Charger fresh air systems:

Super Bee, Charger Rallye (71-72)

Road Runner (70-72)
This assembly will fit a myriad of B/C bodies without the Air Grabber/Ram Charger fresh air systems. Please inquire if you are unsure of fitment options.
Note: the base is specific to the B deck engines (383/400) due to the height of the carburetor flange. It will not fit 413/426/440 RB deck engines due to the difference in height at the flange (sits too high) since the RB deck engines were taller and required a shorter flange.
FITMENT
The assembly will fit factory Carter AVS 4 barrel carburetors with a 5 1/8" diameter flange and others to include Holley, Carter, and Edelbrock variations without electric choke (some adjustment to the tangs may be necessary). If you have modified your carburetor, distributor, or intake manifold, please inquire first prior to purchase to ensure fitment is correct. Return requests for non-fitment will not be honored.
