OEM 1969 Buick GS Ram Air Air Cleaner Assembly. This assembly has been refinished to the original look of the 1969 cars featuring the four barrel Ram Air air cleaners. The base features a very clean interior, correct Air Temperature Sensor, Dual snorkel inlets featuring new white-striped vacuum lines, GM air cleaner service decal, and a new breather filter. An original black lid augments the assembly, adding that classic look under your hood! The assembly is completed by adding a heavy duty air filter and period correct wing nut. 

The Ram Air fiberglass adapter piece is very nice as well. All prior finishes were removed, then the parts were refinished to
resemble the factory gel-coat finish. The bottom cups are complete and intact with minimal wear. A new GS 400 decal is included with the assembly, adding a nice original touch. To complement the entire assembly, a production 1969 date code has been added. New correct foams are installed via the factory methodology as well, ensuring fresh air is channeled from the hood adapters in through the Ram Air assembly.

As an added value, the assembly is completed with a new air cleaner to valve cover breather hose that makes installation straight forward.

APPLICATIONS

This assembly is correct for the following:

1969 Buick

Regal Gran Sport/GS with the 400 / 455 engine 

Note: this will also fit the 70-72 models by using 68-69 ribbed valve covers and the addition of a matching breather hose, as well as eliminating the lip on the pre-heater elbow flange. 72 models featured a triangulated driver's side cup to allow for the air pump - a visual and functional difference.

FITMENT

This assembly will fit factory 4 barrel carburetors with the 5 1/8" flange (Quadrajet). If you have modified your carburetor or intake manifold, please inquire first prior to bidding to ensure fitment is correct. Return requests for non-fitment will not be honored.
