1968 MOPAR ROAD RUNNER 383 UNSILENCED AIR CLEANER
DESCRIPTION
1968-69 Mopar 383 Road Runner Engine Four Barrel Unsilenced Air Cleaner. This assembly has been refinished in wrinkle black to present a period correct image. The base is a clean example and features a 5 1/8" carburetor flange that fits the Carter AVS carburetors. A "Made In Canada" stamp has been recreated to further the authenticity and adds a nice touch to the black finish. The exterior features a new reproduction Mopar Air Cleaner Service Decal and driver side vent tube. The lid features a new Mopar 383 Road Runner Engine pie pan to augment your engine displacement; other pie pans may be available - please inquire first to check availability. To complete the assembly, a new heavy duty air filter and period correct wing nut are included. A "Made in Canada" stamp has been added as a further level of authenticity. The wrinkle finish is nice - it features typical surface characteristics to match the factory finish.

This assembly is correct for the following 1968-69 383/440 high performance models:
Plymouth
Road Runner, Sport Satellite, Sport Fury, 'cuda, GTX
Dodge
Coronet R/T, Dart GTS, Charger R/T
With the change of the pie pan, the assembly will also fit 340/383/440 powered cars from 68-69. If you need a different pie pan, please inquire first before purchase.
It will fit A/B/C/E-body cars ranging from 68-73 as well with the larger carburetor flange, but is only correct for 1968-69.
FITMENT
The assembly will fit factory 4 barrel carburetors (Carter AVS) with a 5 1/8" diameter flange to include Holley, Carter, and Edelbrock variations. If you have modified your carburetor or intake manifold, please inquire first prior to bidding to ensure fitment is correct. Return requests for non-fitment will not be honored.
