1968 CHEVROLET 350 / 295HP 4V 4 SPEED AIR CLEANER 327 LM30
DESCRIPTION
OEM 1968 Chevrolet Chevelle Nova Camaro SS 350/295HP or 327/275 LM30 4 Speed Air Cleaner. This assembly has been refinished in the correct 60% gloss black finish to present a period correct image. The base features the single snorkel without the ThermAC vacuum port (only for automatics) in very good condition. The exterior is dressed with a GM licensed reproduction Air Cleaner Service Decal (CO=1968). As a nice finishing touch, an original date stamp has been added for for further authenticity.
A very nice replacement chrome lid enhances the classic musclecar appearance and includes a new seal. To complete the package, an NOS AC heavy duty air filter, new breather filter with clip, and period correct wing nut are included. To add further distinction, a choice of one (1) GM licensed 350 /295HP or 327/275HP Turbo-Fire decal that complements the overall assembly.
This assembly is in nice condition and will enhance your restoration. Best of all, it is a genuine GM part!

APPLICATIONS
This assembly is correct for the following:
1968 Chevrolet
350/295HP or 327/275HP Chevelle SS/Camaro SS/Nova SS /El Camino 4 Speed models
Note: 4 Speed equipped cars featured the straight snorkel only for 68; all automatic models came with the ThermAC preheather. The orientation of the 68 is a one-year only; it will not correctly match the 69 models.
FITMENT
The assembly will fit factory 4 barrel Quadrajet carburetors with a 5 1/8" diameter flange, as well as Holley (non double-pumper), Carter, and Edelbrock variations without electric choke (some adjustment to the carburetor alignment tangs may be required). If you have modified your carburetor, intake manifold, or valve covers, please inquire first prior to bidding to ensure fitment is correct. Return requests for non-fitment will not be honored.
It will not fit 1969 models due to the orientation of the snorkel and filter breather outlet (all indexed to the RH/Passenger's Side)
