DESCRIPTION

OEM GM 1968 Chevrolet Chevelle/Camaro/Nova/El Camino/Malibu/Impala SS 327 350 4 Speed/Automatic Closed Element Air Cleaner breather filter inlet tube with nipple. This is an original GM stamped tube that has survived intact since originally installed from model year 1968. It is correctly molded to fit the 68 specific closed air cleaner assemblies and inserts into to the valve cover breather grommet via the factory nipple. The valve cover nipple is original and installs to the Passenger/RH side valve cover grommet. The assembly is completed with the original Wittek hose clamp. The rubber remains pliable and the edges are very good; the exterior retains original GM markings. It presents nicely and will enhance the originality of any engine compartment. Note the last picture illustrates this assembly as installed on a 1968 Chevrolet Camaro SS 350 engine.

This piece is in nice original condition and will enhance your restoration. Best of all, it is a surviving and rare genuine GM part!

The assembly will fit factory 1968 4 barrel closed element air cleaners. If you have modified your carburetor, intake manifold or valve covers, please inquire first prior to bidding to ensure fitment is correct. Return requests for non-fitment will not be honored.
