69 CHEVY 350 AIR CLEANER PRE-HEATER TUBE CAMARO CHEVELLE NOVA
DESCRIPTION
OEM 1969-72 Chevrolet 350/400/402 Small Block Air Cleaner Pre-heater Tube. This piece assembly has been refinished in the correct 60% gloss black finish to present a period correct image. It is specific to the 69-72 small block air cleaner assemblies due to the height and snorkel orientation. The top pieces inserts into the bottom of the automatic ThermAC located on the end of the snorkel; the bottom sits inside the special pre-heater stove that is attached to theRH/Passenger's side manifold. The piece installs as illustrated in the second picture (the air cleaner assembly is NOT included).
This piece is in nice condition and will enhance your restoration. Best of all, it is a genuine GM part!

Note: 4 Speed equipped cars featured the straight snorkel without a pre-heater for 69. For 1970-72, all air cleaners featured the ThermAC - this tube fits these models due to the orientation/index of the snorkel for cars only.
FITMENT
The part will fit factory 4 barrel Quadrajet air cleaners specific to the Chevrolet small block models only. Please inquire first prior to purchase to ensure fitment is correct and that you have the correct air cleaner assembly. Return requests for non-fitment will not be honored.

It will fit 1968-72 truck models only due to the orientation of the snorkel and filter breather outlet (all indexed to the LH/Driver's Side). It will not fit car models due to these specific requirements.
