DESCRIPTION

 

OEM 1970-71 AMC Jeep "Dauntless 350" Two Barrel Air Cleaner. This assembly has been refinished to represent the factory OEM appearance as produced for the 70-71 models. It features the oval rectangular snorkel inlet featuring a thermally regulated valve, pre-heater inlet provision, and new vacuum lines. The base is in good condition and retains a new valve cover breather filter connection. The flange is 2 1/8" and accommodates factory 2 barrel carburetors.  

The ridged top is specific to this assembly and is in good condition with typical stamping indentations. It is finished off with a new reproduction Dauntless 350 air cleaner decal. The original dimpled wing nut well is clean and contours with a new heavy duty air filter. The assembly is completed with a period correct wing nut.

APPLICATIONS

This assembly is correct for the following 1970-71 models:

AMC

Jeep Gladiator, J2000, Wagoneer 

It will fit AMC engines designed by Buick - namely the 350-2V. The carburetor flange is 2 1/8" and will fit 2 barrel carburetors. 

FITMENT

 

The assembly will fit factory 2 barrel Rochester carburetors with a 2 1/8" diameter flange, as well as similar others. If you have modified your carburetor or intake manifold, please inquire first prior to bidding to ensure fitment is correct. Return requests for non-fitment will not be honored.

RETURNS
