1968-69 MOPAR 340 383 OEM WRINKLE UNSILENCED AIR CLEANER DART GTS 'CUDA
1968-69 OEM Mopar 340 Four Barrel / 383 Magnum Unsilenced Air Cleaner. This assembly is an original survivor that has been touched up to present as original to the greatest extent possible. The exterior retains the factory wrinkle finish, meaning the wrinkle paint is flat and blotchy - just the way it left the showroom floor. It comes with a Mopar Air Cleaner Service Decal and driver side vent tube. The interior was updated to present as original. The assembly features a choice of (1) a new Mopar 340 Four Barrel or 383 Magnum pie pan* (red only) to augment your engine displacement.
The base is in good condition and features a 5 1/8" carburetor flange that fits the Carter AVS carburetors. To complete the assembly, a new heavy duty air filter and period correct wing nut are included.
The wrinkle finish is very original and very nice - it features typical surface characteristics of the factory finish.
This assembly presents well and will enhance your restoration - it is an excellent candidate for an original survivor car, or will present nicely on a restored car too.
*with the discontinuation of Mopar pie pans, supply has diminished and demand has increased, leading to higher prices for all of them.

This assembly is correct for the following 1968-69 340 / 383 high performance models:
Dodge
Dart GTS, Dart Swinger, Super Bee, Charger
Plymouth
'Cuda 340, Road Runner 383, Sport Fury
It will fit A/B/C/E-body cars ranging from 68-74 as well with the larger carburetor flange, but is technically correct for 1968-69.
FITMENT
The assembly will fit factory 4 barrel carburetors (Carter AVS) with a 5 1/8" diameter flange to include Holley, Carter, and Edelbrock variations. If you have modified your carburetor or intake manifold, please inquire first prior to bidding to ensure fitment is correct. Return requests for non-fitment will not be honored.
