1966-67 Mopar 383 Dual Snorkel Air Cleaner

DESCRIPTION

OEM 1966-67 Mopar 383/440 Four Barrel Dual Snorkel Air Cleaner. This assembly has been refinished in semi-gloss black to present a period correct image. The top is in good condition and features the dual snorkels along with the vent tube on the driver's side snorkel (with CAP), correct clearance indentations, along with the "FRONT" impression. The inside features both air deflector baffles; the surfaces have been finished to prevent the typical surface rust that unfinished factory units were susceptible to. The exterior features a correct 383 air cleaner service decal installed in the factory location. The base features the 4 1/8" flange (OEM Carter AFB) specific to pre-68 models and comes with a new Mopar seal installed. A new heavy duty air filter and period correct wing nut are included to complete the assembly. Note that the finish of the paint is as close a match as that of the factory production methods.

FITMENT

The assembly will fit factory 4 barrel Carter AFB carburetors with the 4 1/8" flange; it will NOT fit newer Edelbrock AFB/Holley/Carter AVS carburetors with the larger 5 1/8" flange. If you have modified your carburetor or intake manifold, please inquire first prior to bidding to ensure fitment is correct. Return requests for non-fitment will not be honored.
