DESCRIPTION

 

OEM 1964 Oldsmobile 98 394 Ultra High Compression Rocket Air Cleaner. The assembly has been refinished in a beautiful gloss silver to present a period correct image. The tapered single snorkel with valve cover breather grommet is in very good condition, allowing direct connection for crankcase ventilation. The top is garnished with GM licensed Oldsmobile Rocket (correct for the 98 models) and the Ultra High Compression decals.

The raised base is clean and retains the factory 4 1/8" flange - correct for the Carter AFBs/Rochester 4Gs of the time. A new lid seal has been added to maintain proper function when the assembly is installed. To complete the package, a new heavy duty air filter and period correct wing nut are included. 

This assembly presents very well and will enhance your restoration. Best of all, it is a genuine GM part!

APPLICATIONS

 

This assembly is correct for the following 1964 394 models:

Oldsmobile

Delta 88, Regency 98

 

The decal insert for this assembly are correct for the top of the line 98 models; the mid-range models received the Sky Rocket decal instead.

 

FITMENT

 

The assembly will fit factory 4 barrel Quadrajet carburetors with a 4 1/8" diameter flange - it will not fit newer iterations (i.e. Holley Carter post 67, and Edelbrock variations. If you have modified your carburetor, intake manifold or valve covers, please inquire first prior to bidding to ensure fitment is correct. Return requests for non-fitment will not be honored.

RETURNS

Assemblies must be returned in the original packing – customers are responsible for return shipping charges. A refund will be issued upon receipt of the inspected assembly. Returns for non-fitment will not be honored – please ask questions first.
